2023 Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Report

For the past three years, we have been pleased to share publicly anonymised datasets on our work towards better and more equitable representation in the grassroots music sector.

To do this, we publish an annual report showing our own position, highlighting new initiatives and recommending best practice.

Sound Roots do this in the spirit of openness and also to recognise that there is still much more work to be done in ensuring the broadest possible representation throughout our community.

We work with our Trustee lead for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Katy Rose Bennett, to collate this report. It is through working together transparently that we demonstrate our commitment to this important work.
