English Folk Expo 2027 - Artist Applications Now Open!

Interested in performing at next spring’s leading showcase for folk, roots and acoustic music and being seen by bookers, agents and new audiences?

We’re delighted to announce that artist applications for EFEx 2027 are now open. The event will take place from Wednesday 10th to Saturday 13th March 2027.

Each year, industry representatives from around the world come to Manchester to discover a wide range of artists from across this broad and diverse genre. Many of the official showcases also form part of the public-facing Manchester Folk Festival.

Deadline: Sunday 7th June 2026 at midnight

Please note: We can only accept applications from artists based in England or who are English, unless a formal partnership is in place with another country or territory.
