EFEx 2026 Announces Briticana as First Special Reception Showcase

At EFEx 2026, we will host a limited number of special reception showcases, each with an exclusive slot in the EFEx schedule, presented by UK organisations. The first to be announced is by Briticana, a new music and publishing start-up from East Anglia.

Described as “art with roots, with voices that sing of future blossoms,” Briticana invites audiences to immerse themselves in a fusion of sound and storytelling about our evolving culture. The performances reflect Briticana’s vision: to reconnect people through an understanding of our history, social and musical, and to support artists whose voices will shape our future.

“Briticana is hopefully more than a label,” says co-founder Jonny C. “It’s a celebration of offline culture, community roots, and the enduring power of social activism through music and words. The showcase is a genre-spanning collection that highlights strong musicianship, lyrical storytelling by John Kyn and a shared commitment to meaningful, independent music and writing.”
